Frequently asked questions

Can I convert statements from any bank?

Yes. Because the converter reads content rather than a fixed template, it handles statements from Chase, HSBC, Santander, MUFG and hundreds of others — including multi-page statements.

What columns are extracted?

Date, description, amount (in/out) and running balance. Headers are matched by content, not position, so differently laid out statements still map to the same columns.

What about foreign currency statements?

Amounts are read as numbers and currency symbols like $, €, ¥, £ are preserved. You can then format the cells for your own currency in Excel.

Is it safe to upload my statement?

Statements are encrypted in transit and at rest. The file is never shared, and you can remove it permanently from your history right after downloading the Excel.

Supported files & languages
